In follow up to this question previously posted: "Can you put two small travel trailers on the Premiere Meadow campsite in Fort Wilderness? The pad says upto 60 feet and the trailers are 18 feet each." Is the response still true?

    Hiya David!

Welcome to planDisney! By the time this question gets published you will be five or fewer days from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Boy, that's so close and I hope you are ready!

I just spoke to several Cast Members and RV-enthusiast panelist Lauren M. who helped me find the correct answer.  The policy at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is that each campsite is designed and intended for one RV/Trailer. Unfortunately, you cannot park both trailers on the same site. Even though the Premium Meadow Campsite is very large and could accommodate both trailers there is also only one electrical and sewage hookup. In addition, just as a reminder, each campsite has a capacity limit of 10 adults not including infants.

I'm not sure if you are looking to invite some friends or family to join in on your trip, but if they would like them to be near you, I would make sure they make their campground reservation as soon as possible. Make sure that is in the same category as what you selected and when speaking with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations it can be added as a note that you are traveling with another party.  Make sure that whoever calls to make this note is listed on the reservation as security verification questions will be asked. I have to stress that these notes will not be a guarantee. Cast Members will try their best to have you near each other or in the same loop but we are getting very close to your trip and availability is limited. Another option is to consider also setting up a tent on the sanded area near the campsite pad. Just make sure to let Disney Resort Reservations know that you are planning on doing that as certain sites could have limitations.

One of the best features of staying at this resort is that is a Dog-Friendly Resort Hotel. Make sure you let them know you are bringing your dog so you can be surprised with a "Pluto Welcome Kit." I have neither a dog nor an RV/trailer but now I am jealous of those that do and are enjoying both at Walt Disney World! Also, don't forget to spend an evening with Chip 'n' Dale at the Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long! It usually begins around 7:30 pm and you can bring or buy at the site your s'more ingredients and be ready to sing! Don't forget your camping chair and stay after for the outdoor movie night. Check with the Front Desk at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for showtimes. David, you are truly looking at some magical moments ahead.

I hope you have a fabulous time!

    Happy Camping!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
