Hi Marianne. Welcome back! It’s so great to see you again.
I’m so happy to hear you’ll be taking a ride on the
Walt Disney World Monorail as you head over to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I think you’ll actually really enjoy the ride. It is such a quintessential Walt Disney World experience, don’t you think?
To answer your question, Marianne, you do not need a
Park Pass Reservation at
Magic Kingdom Park to park your vehicle there and use the transportation to explore the resorts. A reservation is only required to physically enter the park. Great news, right? Just don’t forget to give yourself enough time to get to the resort in time for whatever plans you may have. I always recommend leaving about 30-45 minutes, just in case!
While you’re in the area, why not enjoy all of the resorts on the Monorail line? There is so much to enjoy at each resort, from incredible views of
Cinderella Castle to fantastic bars and dining experiences. One of my personal favorites is
Enchanted Rose at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Not only is it absolutely stunning, but the drinks are incredible. I’m not much of a drinker, but I really loved the Lavender Fog cocktail. It’s such a unique drink, so you definitely don’t want to miss it.
If you’re there between 12:30-2:30 (though those times are subject to change), you can also check out Paint Your Disney Story, also located in the stunning Enchanted Rose Lounge. You’ll get to create your masterpiece as you paint your very own ceramic storybook box to take home as a souvenir. As Walt Disney himself said, "If you can dream it, you can do it." so why not let that creativity flow and paint the story of your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation on a keepsake you can cherish for years to come?
I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World vacation, feel free to visit us again, and we will be happy to help!
See you real soon!
