I follow a few Disney blogs and I keep reading about kitchen tours in the resorts, which would be really fun for my future chef in my party. I can’t find any information about it on the official Disney website, though! Could you shed some light, please?

Hello Rebecca and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,

Once upon a time, in a galaxy not too far away, there was a tour called Disney Family Culinary Adventure. But, alas, all good things come to an end, and that particular tour is no longer available. It is possible that different Resort hotels might offer an activity that involves their kitchens. At this time there are no official tours of Resort kitchens.

But, there IS currently an offering entitled Taste of Magic Kingdom VIP Tour. This 3-hour experience provides a backstage look at some kitchens and work areas within the Magic Kingdom. This might just be what your future chef needs for inspiration. Please note that guests must be at least 12 years of age. Also, since Disney is always changing and evolving, please check the website for availability.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
