Howdy, Kate!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
If you're planning to arrive together and park at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, it's a great idea to coordinate in advance to ensure a smooth experience. Just make sure that each vehicle in your group purchases the same type of parking, whether that’s
standard or preferred parking.
If one of the vehicles requires
accessible or disability parking, and the others do not, keep in mind that you may not be able to follow each other all the way into the lot. Cast Members will direct each car to the appropriate area based on its parking designation, which could separate your group upon arrival.
To stay as close together as possible, I would consider letting a Cast Member know that you're traveling as a group once you arrive at the parking lot entrance. While accommodations aren’t guaranteed, they’ll do their best to assist.
And don’t forget that parking is complimentary for guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, so be sure to have your MagicBand or room reservation info ready if that applies to your party!
Kate, I hope this helps! If you have more planning questions, please stop by and visit with us again!
Toodles,
Korliss
