You folks are so helpful!!!!!! My question is: What does one do with their backpack when riding on the rides? Thanks bunches - 1st timer in December 2009

    Hello Theresa!

I'm so happy to hear that you have found the panel helpful in planning your vacation!

You will be happy to know that you can take your backpack onto the rides with you. On most rides I simply hold the backpack on my lap or place it by my feet. Some rides also have pouches for storage. For fast rides and rollercoasters, you can put your feet through the straps when the bag is on the ground if it will make you feel safer.

Kali River Rapids has a large compartment in the center of the raft that has a lid to keep your valuables dry. I recommend packing a small garbage bag to put your bag in before storing it just in case the compartment leaks a bit. This way nothing will get wet should some water get in.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
