Hiya Heather!
Welcome back again to planDisney and welcome to Disneyland Resort!
I used to live in New York City and had an obsession with my laundry/shopping/everything cart. It was foldable, rolled nicely, and held everything. I could conquer the world with that cart. Now that I live more in the suburbs you will still find that cart in my basement as it was just the best. Unfortunately according to the
Park Rules for Disneyland Resort, it most likely won't be welcome. There are a few areas where it could be disqualified for entry due to size and its potential classification as a "wagon" or "trailer-like object."
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but you have time to consider other alternatives. While the magic carpetbag carried by Mary Poppins is not available to us right now, I suggest renting a
Locker for all your gear and purchases. This way you can keep your items safe and secure. Remember, even strollers are not allowed in queues so the cart you are considering- if allowed- would have to remain outside and at risk of theft or damage. I never leave anything valuable in my stroller when I place it in stroller parking areas and the large capacity of the shopping cart may tempt you to store wonderful things inside.
Leave the four-wheeled best friend at home. Consider minimizing by bringing less or maximizing and renting that locker. No matter what, have a wonderful time, and
come back if you have any more questions!
Happy Planning!
