Do they have folding fans for sale at WDW or do I need to bring one?

    Hi Joan,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can share that over the years I've visited Walt Disney World in every month and season in all kinds of weather, and I can say for sure that staying cool and comfortable is key to vacation bliss. What comes to mind for me when you mention folding fans are the traditional hand fans often made from paper or silk and often colorful and decorative. I'm thinking you can likely find something like that in the Mitsukoshi Department Store at Epcot's Japan Pavilion or another World Showcase Pavilion. You can also find misting cooling fans — a handheld spray bottle with a fan — like this Mickey Mouse and Friends Disney Parks Misting Fan at merchandise locations around the theme parks  For me personally, when it comes to staying comfortable, I like to have at the ready anything I think I might need as I'm out and about in the theme parks such as a pocket rain jacket, a foldable fan, or some other essential item. I also like to use the super easy and convenient Shop Disney Parks App on my mobile phone to help locate specific merchandise around Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind, too, that Disney Springs is a fun and fantastic shopping destination for the everyday items and those special-somethings.

Joan, I hope this information is helpful. Please do come back to us with any questions you have as you plan your magical Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
