Color me red, white, and blue because you're reading my mind! It seems like you and I will be at Walt Disney World at the same time, and I was just starting to plan my own patriotic vacation with Mickey Mouse! Joseph, it's my pleasure to help you!
I was in Walt Disney World last 4th of July and had SO MUCH FUN! While we both are ready for the
AWE-some details, we don't yet have information about a flyover or specifics about July 4th just yet. I did a little research, and last year, the announcements for July 4th were made around mid-June. So we should be hearing these details soon.
Last year, I experienced a July 4th fireworks show at Magic Kingdom that was unlike any I had ever seen before. "Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" took place on both July 3rd and 4th. Joseph, you will be truly surrounded by a patriotic display of pyrotechnics that is truly nothing short of.......magical. After the fireworks show, the celebration didn't stop; my husband and I continued the festivities by doing a little
indepen-dance in front of Cinderella Castle, with a DJ keeping the party going! I visit Walt Disney World frequently, and this event is especially special.
EPCOT celebrated last year, too, with its own fireworks show titled "The Heartbeat of Freedom." And if you're looking for the PERFECT way to celebrate America, visit the
Voices of Liberty as they perform a cappella patriotic tunes in the rotunda of The American Adventure. This will definitely put you in a patriotic mood!
