Hiya, Angela!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! This is such a great question. Traveling with young children often includes a lot of packing for all of the what-ifs, so having the opportunity to not take a car seat in addition to all the essentials can really lighten your luggage! And of course, free up a hand to hold on to an even tinier hand as you make your way through the airport and off to your magical home away from home.
The Mears buses will allow you to travel as a family, with no car seat required. You will also find this to be the case with The Sunshine Flyer and other shuttle bus services located in the Orlando International Airport that transport Guests to
Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels. The Taxi Van and Car options offered by Mears can include a car seat for transport upon request but are not guaranteed. You can also book Luxury transport through Mears which will meet you at baggage claim and guarantees a car seat.
Once you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth you will find a variety of
transportation options to get around Walt Disney World Resort without a car seat. Buses, monorails, and
Disney Skyliner do not require a booster/car seat. And if you are looking for private transportation from your resort hotel to the theme parks, I am excited to report that
Minnie Vans are back! These adorably themed "vans" are driven by friendly Cast Members and have car seats available for your young traveler.
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
