    We are flying to WDW 10/09 using ME. My hubby can NOT live without Mt Dew. What would approx cost be to go via taxi to closest gas station/grocery store so he can buy his fix for the week? Or do you have a more cost effective solution?

    Hi Amber,

    Hiring taxis at Walt Disney World can get a bit expensive.  I would imagine it would cost at least $25 for a round-trip fare to a local grocery store.  I think I can suggest a more cost-effective way for your husband to get his Mountain Dew-fix while staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  Consider having Garden Grocer (a local grocery delivery service) deliver a case of soda directly to you.  You could also have them add some additional items, like bottled water, snacks, or breakfast options, with your order.  Doing so will help you save enough money on daily expenses in the theme parks that it could very well offset the cost of the grocery delivery service.  If you'd like to check this service out, simply visit there website at gardengrocer.com at your earliest convenience.
