I am flying to WDW in late Feb., staying at the Port Orleans, Riverside resort. I know we can rent strollers but am trying to decide if I should just bring ours instead? Are the rental strollers able to be rented and paid for once for our entire stay?

    Hi Daphne -

Whenever my family travels to Walt Disney World, we opt to bring our own umbrella stroller.  They're lightweight and easy to maneuver.  It saves us money and prevents us from having to carry tired children around.  They come in handy at the airport, walking around the resorts, waiting in line for buses, and for getting around int he parks.

Disney does have a Length of Stay rental for strollers.  You make a one-time payment for as many days of rental as you will need.  Each time you visit a theme park, show your receipt at the stroller/wheelchair rental location, and you will be directed through the line with no wait.  There is also a slight discount when purchasing a length of stay rental.

Rental strollers are NOT allowed outside of the theme parks.  This is the main reason why our family finds bringing our own stroller much more convenient.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
