Hiya Kaeli! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth during Thanksgiving? What an adventure! While you may be celebrating Thanksgiving, The Walt Disney World Resort has already decked the halls for the
Holiday Season! During your trip, you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful holiday decor, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and special ride overlays! I recommend taking a ride on the Jingle Cruise, a holiday remix of the classic
Jungle Cruise!
Unfortunately, Kaeli, you're reading the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar correctly. When you see gray, it means that theme park reservations are all booked up for that particular day. However, that may not be the end of the story. Guests' plans change frequently, so if one Guest cancels their theme park reservation that day, it will be available for another Guest to book! The best way to make this a reality is by checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar often.. I'm talking every day, multiple times per day! If you see that reservations are available, hop over to the
Walt Disney World Resort Website, purchase your tickets and make theme park reservations right away.
If you're unable to find availability, you can still visit
Disney Springs and have a magical day! There is endless shopping, delicious dining, and tasty treats. You can even check out the Christmas Tree Stroll as you make your way through this outdoor shopping dream!
Have a magical day, Kaeli!
