    We are flying and staying at AofA. What is the closest grocery store? We drink a TON of bottled water and need a few necesseties and deciding if we need to rent a car for a day or take a cab? Goodings delivery doesn't seem worth it.

    The best thing for you might be to do your shopping ahead of time at GardenGrocer.com.   They will be happy to do your shopping for you and have it delivered right to your resort.  There is a delivery fee, but I think it is worth the cost for the time you will save from going shopping when you get there and the cost of a taxi or rental car. 

    Your other option is to pick up your goodies right at your resort.  While you cannot buy cases of water, you can buy individual bottles and a variety of snacks.  Remember that throughout the parks, you can get free cups of ice water at counter service locations which might save on your buying bottled water.

    If your only reason to get a car or taxi is to go to the grocery store, I really think that financially, it is not worth it.  Any money you save by going directly to the store will be used for taxi fare or rental car fees.  Take a look at Garden Grocer and see what you think.  If you still want a car, let me know and I'll let you know where to get a car for the day and the best places to shop locally.
