    We are flying Southwest to WDW and using the Magical Express courtesy bus to get to the Boardwalk Inn. My question is, if the Magical Express is picking up our luggage but the airline lost or misplaced a bag, would we find out about it right away?

    Hello Daniel,

    My family always uses the Disney Magical Express (DME) when we travel to Orlando.  It's such a convenient way for Guests to get to Disney World!

    For Guests arriving on flights between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., their luggage can be delivered directly to their Resort room. When you check in at the DME Welcome Center at the airport, a Cast Member will ask how many bags you checked. My understanding is that if they have fewer baggage in their system than you say you checked, they will initiate the claims process for you then notify you of your lost luggage. Fortunately for me, we have had our bags delivered to our rooms each trip!
