Hi Melissa,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about hotel transportation. I hope you’re getting excited to visit the
Disneyland Resort as you make plans!
There is not complimentary transportation to the
Disneyland Resort Hotels from the local airports. However, one economical option is the Disneyland Resort Express, a private bus service that offers large, comfortable tour buses. The buses run continuously from John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and reservations and pre-payment are accepted but not required.
Many of the area hotels recommend SuperShuttle as a preferred shared shuttle van service, and I have used it myself on previous vacations. Your ride can be arranged in advance and will transport you to any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels in a timely fashion for a reasonable fee. There is a per-person fee for this service, but children under the age of 3 ride for free. There are also several car rental companies located at both major airports, and Alamo Rent A Car has an office at the
Downtown Disney District where you can rent and return vehicles.
I hope this information helps, Melissa. Please write back with more questions as you continue planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
