We are flying into the Sanford/Orlando airport on Sunday May 29 but our flight now doesn't land until 11:30pm! (no rental service available at that time.) What would the cost be for someone to pick us up?

    Hi Laura,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

Though I don't know the exact cost for transportation (it varies), there are definitely options for late night travel from the Orlando International Airport. The first that comes to mind is using a rideshare service like Lyft. After you arrive at the airport and get your bags, you can always call a Lyft via their app on your phone. This might be the best option if you aren’t staying on Disney property.

If you’d rather have your transportation scheduled, you can use Mears Connect, this is a bus system that travels between the Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World Resort. On Mears, you’ll be able to book the transportation by adding in your flight information, drop off location, and number of members in your party. Once you arrive at the airport, you’ll head down to the lower level of the airport where you’ll board the bus and it will take you to your Resort (with a few other Resort stops along the way)! It's very easy to use and a great option after a day of travel when you just want to sit back, relax, and start your vacation.

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful for your trip next month. If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
