We're flying from San Diego & thought maybe we shouldn't take our daughter's big stroller, perhaps just taking her umbrella, then at the parks (I don't know if she would be comfy in her umbrella) we thought we'd rent, suggestions??

We found our son's umbrella stroller to be very useful once he no longer needed to be in his car seat or in a more comfortable position to sleep.

The umbrella stroller can be easily rolled on and off the monorail. It folds up easily when needed such as boarding the parking lot trams or buses. It makes navigating your way through the parks less cumbersome and doesn't take up as much space in your room.

My suggestion would be to bring the umbrella stroller and then rent if you find that your daughter needs more room. We always hung a canvas bag across the rear of the stroller for storage.

The advantage with a larger stroller is room to store drinks, supplies and shopping bags. And if you are fortunate to have a child that sleeps in their stroller (ours did not) this would be a great reason to bring it as well. Just consider which option is more convenient for you.

Enjoy your visit. (We were just in San Diego not too long ago. Beautiful!)
