Flying in at 1:30 on the 9th. Plan to skip the parks & head to resorts instead that day. Is it possible to go to the Chip and Dale sing-a-long then go to Poly to watch Wishes that night w/o rushing? If so, whats the best way to get from FW to Poly?

    Hi Jessica:

Great idea to do some non-park entertainment options on arrival day!

The campfire sing-a-long with Chip and Dale at Fort Wilderness starts at 8 p.m. during the summer months. Get there early as the campfire is started at 7:30 p.m. The singing and meet 'n greet with the characters is usually over by 8:40 p.m. For those that want to linger, a movie is shown on a giant outdoor screen.

If you depart directly at 8:40 p.m., you'll have time to take the boat over to the Polynesian (transferring at the Magic Kingdom) to see the 10 p.m. Wishes fireworks display.

Here's a tip: take the boat to the Magic Kingdom, if there is not a boat waiting to take you to the Polynesian, then head to the monorail. You'll be the third stop off the monorail line (Contemporary, Transportation and Ticket Center, then the Polynesian).

Your travel time should be about 45 minutes or less.

    Enjoy a wonderful vacation!!
