We are going to be flying into Orlando on Thanksgiving, 2012. Can you tell me if there is a Disney store in Orlando that has Black Friday sales? I cannot believe I am going to miss Black Friday at my local Disney store.

Something tells me we're soul sisters, Jenny; I'm a big Black Friday kind of girl myself.  You're going to want to head to Downtown Disney this year.  The ginormous World of Disney Store there does indeed offer some Black Friday specials, as do a number of the other retail locations.  Be prepared to rise early; the best deals go fast.  Also, keep an eye on your dining receipts during your trip.  In year's past, Disney has printed retail discounts at the bottom of dining receipts.  There is no guarantee that the same will be true this year, but it's worth keeping an eye out for.  Happy shopping!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
