Hello Carolyn!
Transportation options are available when your magic carpet isn’t working and Lightning McQueen isn’t available to provide a fast ride to the Walt Disney World Resort!
You are correct about Disney Transportation. In the past, a service called Disney’s Magical Express was provided as part of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. That service has been permanently parked in the Disney Vault.
Now, Guests are free to book transportation that best meets their needs. A service is available that is very similar to Disney’s Magical Express – right down to where you board the bus service at Orlando International Airport. The service is provided by the same transportation company that the Walt Disney World Resort partnered with to operate Disney’s Magical Express.
To book a ride aboard the bus from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, simply do an internet search for “bus to Disney World from the airport.” The bus company will most likely be the first option to appear in your search results. You will find two bus options available – “standard” and “express.” The “standard” service will take you from the airport to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, with stops at other resorts. The “express” service will take you from the airport directly to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
I find the service to be reasonably priced. Children ages 2 and under also ride for free! You can book transportation one way or round-trip. I recommend booking the round-trip service.
Of course, Carolyn, once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort you can count on
Disney Transportation to get you around the Most Magical Place on Earth! Disney Transportation is complimentary for Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort!
Dreams do come true!
