We will be flying into Orlando on June 5th. I realize that the bus that formerly picked up at the airport and took you to Disney World is no longer in service. Is there a shuttle available from the airport to Disney?

    Hello Cathy,

Summer will be here before you know it, and so will your vacation! Although Disney's Magical Express service is no longer an option for guests, rest assured there are still plenty of ways to easily get from the airport to Walt Disney World. I recommend researching all of the options as there are benefits to each, whether it's getting to your resort as quickly as possible or finding the most budget conscious transportation available.

Shuttle Services: Mears Connect is a shuttle service run by the same company that used to operate Magical Express, so you'll find that it is very similar to what you were used to in the past. The Sunshine Flyer is another motorcoach type shuttle service that is available for guests, featuring buses themed like old fashioned railway cars.

Ride Share or Taxi: A lot of guests these days are choosing to take a taxi or use a ride share service, like Uber or Lyft to get to the parks. This may be a convenient way to get to the parks directly if you're traveling with a relatively small group of people.

Private Car Service: Hiring a private car service can be an option for small groups as well a large groups needing their own shuttle van. Drivers often provide car seats for children if needed and will often make a stop at a grocery or convenience store to pick up snacks, water, and toiletries if requested.

Hopefully, this gives you enough options to find the one that works best getting you and your party started on your magical vacation!
