We are flying into Orlando and the flight lands at 7:45. How long does it take to get to WDW and what can we do for dinner that first night. We'll be staying at the Riverside.

I would plan to take it easy with your late arrival.   Plan on getting to your resort around 9:15 p.m.   Do online check-in before you leave home to save you some time when you arrive at your resort.

My plan would be to check-in, drop my bags in my room and head to the Riverside Mill Foodcourt right at your resort.   Then take some time to walk around the beautiful grounds!  And if you are up for it, take the 10 minute walk to your sister resort, Port Orleans French Quarter.

By having a relaxing evening, you can hit the ground running the next day for your first full day of magic!   Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
