We are flying in to Orlando the day before our cruise and staying at a hotel in Orlando. Our plan is to uber back to the airport and take the Disney bus line from MCO. How do we indicate we are doing that? I didn't see it when I paid for the bus.

Ahoy there, Courtney! Welcome aboard, planDisney!

Your cruise is coming up, and I bet you’re super excited! I love watching that magical countdown get shorter on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as my cruise gets closer! But I also know that this time can be filled with many last-minute Disney cruise prep activities, albeit very exciting ones! One of those is figuring out how to get you to that cruise. My favorite way is taking the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, and I would be happy to explain how to do so.

When you book the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Port Canaveral, you don’t need to indicate where to be picked up from or how you're getting there. Disney Cruise Line has one Ground Transportation terminal in MCO, currently on the Ground Floor, near the Car Rental facilities, before the terminal where Mears Connect picks up Walt Disney World Resort Guests, if you’re familiar with that area. When you book the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, Disney Cruise Line automatically knows that is where you will be picked up from (unless anything changes on their end, which is always communicated to you).

You will receive further instructions about this meeting spot and timing from Disney Cruise Line, usually via email, a few days before your cruise. As long as you’ve already booked the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, you’re good to go and can be assured that Disney Cruise Line has your reservation information up-to-date, and this information is on file. If you still have not received an email with Ground Transportation instructions the day before your cruise, you should call Disney Cruise Line for further instructions.

I highly suggest being back at MCO by about 9 AM at the latest on the morning of your cruise. This is to ensure that you are there in time for the Ground Transportation pickup. While not guaranteed, anytime I’ve taken Ground Transportation from MCO, my pickup time has been between 9 and 10 AM, so I like to make sure I’m near that area around my pickup time.

Courtney, I hope that I was able to offer clarification. I wish you the most memorable moments ahead! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
