Boo to you, Daryl! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question. When it comes to special event tickets like
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it’s natural to want a little extra peace of mind, especially if travel delays are a possibility!
Unfortunately, these tickets fall under very specific policies. According to the
Walt Disney World Resort guidelines, special event tickets are nontransferable, nonrefundable, and may not be resold. This means that once purchased, they’re tied to your name and cannot be canceled or exchanged if your plans change due to a delayed or canceled flight.
I know this may not be the news you were hoping for, but I do have a small tip to offer. While official policy does state that these tickets are final sale, sometimes if truly unexpected circumstances arise, you can always speak with a Cast Member at
Guest Relations once you arrive. They won’t be able to offer a refund, but depending on availability and your situation, they may be able to give you advice or suggestions to help make the most of your vacation despite the hiccup. Still, if you're able to change your flight to an earlier one, I would definitely consider that option too if I were you.
My best advice is to hold onto your tickets and plan with optimism. You might just land on time and make it to the party after all! If that happens, you’ll be in for a frightfully fun evening filled with candy, rare characters, and the best kind of Halloween magic that only Disney can deliver. And remember that you're always welcome here at planDisney with any other questions you might have!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
