Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Amanda. I am thrilled to hear you're traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort in a few days. And with
little ones in tow! Your heart will just melt as you watch them experience the magic of Disney storytelling.
You're going to love experiencing the
Disney Resorts Collection. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic, even after you've left the theme parks! As a mom of three, I appreciate all the family-friendly services that are available at Disney Resort hotels. These services make traveling with kids a breeze! You'll be pleased to know that complimentary life jackets are available at all Disney Resort hotel pools. You can expect to find a variety of sizes. It's important to note that life jackets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but I can tell you that I've never seen an empty rack at a pool!
I try to pack as little as possible for my family of five in an effort to avoid pricey airline baggage fees, but I
did pack my preschooler's Puddle Jumper for our Disney vacation last summer. She's super comfortable swimming in it, so I thought it would be best to take it along.
You are most welcome to bring along your own flotation device or life jacket, but be sure it's US Coast Guard/UL approved! Speaking of light packing, have you considered
placing a grocery order to be delivered to your Disney Resort hotel? The last thing I need on my hands is a "hangry" kiddo, so I always place a grocery order for snacks and beverages. I've even included diapers, wipes, and other vacation essentials in our grocery order! Like I said, I try to pack as
little as possible! My family always places our grocery orders with Garden Grocer, an Orlando-based grocery delivery service, but my fellow panelists have used Instacart, Amazon Prime Now, and Walmart+. You have lots of options!
I hope this was helpful, Amanda. I'm wishing you and your family a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
