Flying to MCO and renting a car for a week to travel. Planning on returning the car to MCO and taking the Magic Express to All Star Movies for our WDW vacation. Will this be a problem since we are not flying in on the day that we need the Magic Express?

Hi Mary! Sounds like you've got a great vacation in the making! It should be no problem taking Magical Express on a different date then your actual arrival into the Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Firstly, be sure you indicate on your reservation that you will be taking Magical Express. You will receive a package in the mail prior to your departure that contains yellow, Magical Express luggage stickers. DO NOT USE these! These stickers indicate to airport staff that your bags should be taken and sent directly to your resort, which would not be good since you're heading elsewhere! When you arrive at MCO, you'll need to go to the baggage claim area and collect your bags.

Your Walt Disney World resort reservation needs to begin the same date as your Magical Express reservation. Once you drop your car off at the airport, simply head over to the Magical Express counter with your luggage. The driver will store your bags under the bus, so you'll be good to go! Just don't forget to grab them when you arrive at your resort.

Wishing you a magical vacation Mary!
