Hi there, Lindsay! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I think that flying into John Wayne Airport is the most convenient option when
traveling to the Disneyland Resort from out of state! Not only is it just a short drive away from the parks, but the airport itself is small and super easy to navigate. At this time, the
Disneyland Resort does not operate a shuttle service from any airport. They do partner with Karmel Shuttle Service, a third-party operator, to provide airport transportation for guests who book vacation packages. Karmel Shuttle Service can be booked separately by anyone and they are worth checking out, but I don't believe they provide car seats or booster seats.
I would search around for other shuttle or even limousine services that provide transportation from John Wayne Airport to the Disneyland Resort. Limousines may sound extravagant, but some services, like Lansky, will provide child restraint seats and for a family it can be an easy way to travel with lots of people and lots of luggage.
I've also taken a ride share service like Uber or Lyft from the airport to the Disneyland Resort many times. I purchased an inexpensive and lightweight car seat that was perfect for traveling and as my daughter got older, I even had an inflatable booster seat that was specifically made for travel that worked really well.
I hope you find a service that works well for your family. Have a fabulous time at the Disneyland Resort!
