Flying and getting to MCO at noon and taking DME to the Poly Resort. We are on the dining package. Kids will be hungry. Want to make reservations at Kona for a late lunch. Does check in take a long time? Does everyone need to be present at check in?

    Hi Cynthia!

How exciting!  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has been newly renovated, and I think you're going to love it there!

Check-in does not usually take long at all.  I would say 20-25 minutes at most.  You can also expedite the process by doing an online check-in before you leave home.  You should receive email information about this, and you can find a link to do it on your My Disney Experience account, under that reservation.

Not everyone needs to be there for the check-in process.   In fact, my husband and boys usually begin exploring the resort while I get us all checked in.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, and have a magical vacation!
