Hello Erin!
Welcome to planDisney! You have quite an adventure planned for this November! I had a chance to stay at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resorts twice in the last few years and I loved it more than I expected. The food options alone make it such a great Resort to stay at. My favorites include
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago and the
Dahlia Lounge. Both restaurants have great views and delicious bites.
The easiest way to directly get from the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is via a rental car or rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. This is the best solution since you will be carrying luggage. I don't know if you're thinking about walking to the Disney Springs bus stop and taking the
complimentary bus transportation to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort but I must tell you that won't work. Luggage is not permitted on the Walt Disney World Resort buses, so unless all you have is a backpack, I would avoid this option. Bell Services will not be able to transfer your luggage from that Resort to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort so you will be responsible for moving it. Before you arrive, I suggest you practice requesting rideshare via the Uber or Lyft apps so that you can prepare to do it when you arrive. I have sometimes set up a hypothetical trip to figure out the expected cost so that I can prepare for the expense. (Of course, don't confirm the trip or it will charge you before you are ready.)
If you are looking for some more transportation tips, then I would like you to know that I was able to be a part of a whole podcast that discussed all things
Transportation in Walt Disney World Resort! Consider giving it a listen and hopefully, it can help as you travel around the Parks.
Have a magical time and Happy Planning!
