Hey there, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by to help with your road trip back home.
Making a stop at Walt Disney World on your way back to Ohio sounds like a great way to add a little extra magic to the trip, even with a U-Haul in tow!
Since you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you’ll get
complimentary parking, which is a nice perk.
Most resorts have large lots with plenty of space, but with a U-Haul, I recommend parking toward the back or along the edges of the lot where it’s usually less crowded. That way, you’re less likely to run into tight spaces or block other vehicles, especially if the truck takes up more than one spot.
If you're unsure where to park once you arrive, the Cast Members at the front desk or security gate are super helpful and can direct you to the best spot for oversized vehicles. Safe travels, and let me know if you need tips for making the most of your short stay!
While you’re on property, it’s a great time to do a little resort hopping or book an
Advanced Dining Reservation at one of the fantastic restaurants in
Disney Springs or at any of the Disney Resort hotels.
If you're looking for a relaxing way to end the evening, head over to
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Both offer beautiful views of the
Magic Kingdom fireworks, and they even pipe in the music, so it feels just like you're watching from Main Street, U.S.A., but with a lot more elbow room. Grab a treat, find a cozy spot, and enjoy the show!
Jennifer, safe travels home. If you have more questions about your stop in Florida, we're here to help!
Toodles,
Korliss
