    Flying down, no rental car. How "doable" is it to take the bus to DD from FW and get to the Hess station across the street and then lug everything (milk, water, snacks, etc...) to FW? I know about garden grocer but still trying to cut a few $ fr

    Hi Dawn! Yikes, what you are hoping to do would be very difficult. Obviously the easiest thing is to use one of the grocery delivery services such as Garden Grocer. There are two Trading Posts on property where you can buy basic food items such as bread, milk, hotdogs, cereal, etc. They don't offer a large variety or brands but you can find enough for a decent meal now and then.

    You could also call for a taxi and have them take you to the nearest store and then wait while you shop but please know that this would also be expensive.

    I have used Garden Grocer many times and have found their food and produce of excellent quality and prices not unreasonable for what you get. Your minimum needs to be $50 but if you are buying a case of water and other drinks as well as snacks and food staples this minimum is easy to reach. You choose your date of delivery and time and they will put it into your cabin for you even if you are not there. It saves a lot of time and stress and sometimes when you are on vacation that is worth a few extra dollars.
