Flying to Disney Resort from Toronto, Canada. If the Disney bus shuttles the passengers efficiently to resort and baggage continues later to our room. Do I still need to claim my luggage at airport and go through customs with it first ?

    Hi there Beatriz,

Having lived in Ontario myself a few years ago and also traveling from Toronto Pearson to Orlando International airport, I have done this trip quite a few times. When you leave from Toronto Pearson Airport, you will go through U.S. Customs and Immigration there and you will have already put on your yellow Walt Disney World labels/tags onto your luggage so when you say goodbye to your luggage, the next time you will see it, will be in your Disney World Resort room. On the other hand, when you are leaving your Walt Disney World Resort once your vacation has ended, you cannot enjoy the pre-boarding registration and checked luggage at the Resort (if you are using one of the participating airlines) as you will not be on a Domestic flight. You will take your luggage to the Magical Express Coach at the time you will be taking it to the Orlando International Airport, they will transfer you and your luggage to the airport and when you arrive there, you will have to check your own luggage in at your airline check-in desk. I hope you have a magical stay and a safe trip!!!!

    Best wishes,
