    We are flying in from Canada in October and staying at the Contemporary. Is there a rental car site on the property if we wanted to do a road trip for one day? We do not have a car booked ahad of time and want to be flexible.

    Hey Susan-

    October will be here before you know it and you will smelling those sweet ladies made at the main Street Confectionery. I love the planning phase of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Last fall we were in the exact same situation. With a room booked at Disney’s Contemporary Resort we were excited to be able to walk to Magic Kingdom Park and hang out with Mickey and the gang. If you get a chance try to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Who wouldn’t want to trick-or-treat around the Kingdom? The Boo-to-You! parade and HalloWishes fireworks showcase are not to be missed as well as all the costumes guests bring to show their Halloween Disney Side.

    The Car Care Center (car rentals from Alamo and National) is just moments away from your resort. As soon as you decide you want to make a day trip to see the local sites, give them a call. There is complimentary shuttle service from all resorts to the Car Care Center. A last minute decision may mean decreased inventory for the type of vehicle you need or even unavailability so planning ahead is highly recommended.
