Hi Ane!
I know exactly what you mean! We took our son on a trip to Hawaii when he was 18 months old and I was terrified that he wouldn’t be a “good boy” during the long flight. What I did was pack a carry-on suitcase that was filled with toys, activities and snacks for him. I went to a local consignment shop (so I wouldn’t be spending a ton) and picked up some new things that I thought he would enjoy. We borrowed a portable DVD player from a friend and loaded up with various movies. He had coloring books, cars, toys that sang songs, pretty much anything I could shove in the suitcase. We brought books of Hawaii and showed him pictures of where we were going and what we were going to do there. We had to walk him up and down the aisle a few times, but we weren’t the only one with a busy toddler doing that. Luckily for us, he also took a nap during the flight.
Hoping you have a stress-free flight!
Leslie
