I am flying AirTran and believe that they are part of the Resort Airline Check-in. Since we will have to pay baggage fees, will we be able to check-in and getting boarding passes at the resort and check our bags when we arrive at the airport? Thanks!

    Hi Ellen,

I am a huge fan of Resort Airline Check-in at Walt Disney World!  On the day you check out of your Disney resort (and a minimum of three hours before your flight departure time), take your bags to the airline check-in desk. (We usually do this first thing in the morning on the last day of our vacation).  These desks are easy to find, typically at the front of your resort.  The folks working at the desk will print your boarding passes for you and you can pay your airline baggage fees here too.  What's even better is that you can simply give your luggage to the Cast Members at this desk and they will see that they get to the airport.  You don't have to be bothered with your bags again until you pick them up at your home airport.  I only just discovered this complimentary service earlier this year and I felt like I made an amazing, liberating discovery.  When I use this service I don't have to go through the long lines to check in at Orlando International Airport.  Hooray!

I highly recommend that you give this service a try, Ellen.  It rocks!

Best wishes you to on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
