We are Floridians and anxious to get back to Disney...Any date as to when masks will not be required?

Hi there, Edward! Welcome to planDisney! It is my pleasure to chat with you about planning your next Walt Disney World vacation. As you are already likely aware, since the phased reopening of the Disney Parks, there have been many measures put into place to protect the health and well-being of all who visit and work there. Strict measures are in place, and this includes a stringent mask policy. Masks must cover the nose and mouth at all times except when stationary and eating and when swimming in pools. There are currently no exceptions to the face mask policy, and there is no word on if and when Walt Disney World will make any changes. In fact, I am in the process of rescheduling a trip myself due to a family member that cannot tolerate wearing a mask. We are tentatively looking forward to enjoying some time together at Walt Disney World in 2022, but recognize that we may not be able to enjoy a trip with him next year either, as we are unsure if mask policies will change by then or not.

Edward, I hope that this information is useful to you as you continue to make plans. While that Disney magic we all know and love is there waiting for you, Walt Disney World understands that some Guests will be ready before others. For now, I encourage you to spend some time on the Disney Parks Blog to learn about all the latest happenings in and around the Disney Parks! Also, check out Disney+, where you can tune in to amazing programs like The Imagineering Story, which can bring some Disney magic right into your living room! Please know that we are here for you whenever you are ready to plan your vacation! I cannot wait to hear back from you whenever you’re ready to take that next trip.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Clara
