Hi! We are Florida residents visiting the parks in a week. We want to buy Genie+. Will we need to confirm our residence before we purchase the Genie+? If yes, where can we do that the night before and park for free?

Hi Mary! Welcome back to planDisney.

Oh Boy! You are only days away from a magical arrival at Walt Disney World Resort. I have great news to share with you. While you definitely need to verify your Florida residency before entering the theme parks, as long as you are holding a valid theme park ticket, you are able to purchase Disney Genie+ Service any time after midnight on the day of your Disney Park Pass Reservation.

If you would like to take care of this the day before your park visit, I suggest making a stop at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Parking is free and you have access to award-winning dining and unique shopping. I recommend Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' to enjoy fresh southern delights and amazing moonshine cocktails.

Here is the bonus treat with this plan! The Christmas Tree Stroll is up and ready for viewing. Pick up a map and match the stickers to the themed tree locations. Once completed, you can return it to a redemption location for a special treat. Also, Santa is meeting guests via the virtual queue at Once Upon a Toy.

    Keeping it Magical,
