Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Anabel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Anabel, I always think it is so nice when a Florida resident wants to pass along the savings of a
Florida resident ticket to friends and family because these types of tickets really are such a great deal. However, to use a Florida resident ticket Guests ages 18 and older must show
proof of residency before their tickets can be activated and used at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. For this reason, Florida residents are not able to purchase and share Florida resident tickets with the adults in their party that live out of state.
The out-of-state adults of your group will need to purchase either a
standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one park per day or they can upgrade to a
park hopper pass. No matter what ticket you all have, keep in mind that you will also need to make
park pass reservations to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to visit each day. The parks are still operating at a limited capacity so this is a way to guarantee your spot for the day.
I hope this helps, Anabel. If you have any other questions about Florida resident tickets or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day.
