Greetings, Kristy!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us your question about
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes. I'm excited to hear that you're considering upgrading your Disney Pixie Dust Pass soon - Madame Leota's crystal ball shows more visits to
The Most Magical Place on Earth in your future! I'm happy to help you to understand the process for upgrading to another Annual Pass type.
Kristy, I'm thrilled to inform you that you'll be welcome to upgrade your pass type when
Annual Pass sales resume on April 20, 2023! As a Florida resident, as of April 20, 2023, you'll be eligible to upgrade to
any Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass type (pending availability), even though you're currently outside your renewal window. I recommend calling the
Annual Passholders phone line, visiting the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, or stopping by a theme park ticket booth to complete this upgrade. Kristy, after speaking to a friendly Cast Member, I was informed that, at the time of the upgrade, you'll be responsible for the difference in cost between the two pass types and your current pass's expiration date will remain the same. According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms & Conditions, this difference in price must be paid in full at the time of the upgrade.
Which Annual Pass type will you upgrade to, Kristy!? As a Florida resident, the possibilities are endless. As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I just purchased the
Disney Sorcerer Pass and can't wait to start using it! Both the Disney Sorcerer Pass and the Disney Incredi-Pass allow Annual Passholders to hold up to five theme park reservations at a time on a rolling basis. That's a whole lot of magical theme park time! Also, no blockout dates apply to the Disney Incredi-Pass, so you could visit your favorite theme parks on any day of the year!
Kristy, I hope that you find this information useful and wish you luck with your Annual Pass upgrade! I'm wishing you many magical moments at the Walt Disney World Resort as an Annual Passholder. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to revisit us at planDisney again anytime!
Hurry back,
Lauren
