We are Florida residents and are looking for a two day short vacation at Fort Wilderness RV resort and Disney Hollywood Park. We want to take our RV and stay at Fort Wilderness and then visit the Hollywood Park. We do not know the best months or days.

Hey Howdy Hey and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. I will do my best to give you some times you may want to consider as well as other tools that may help you make that final decision on the right time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. Giddy up!

There are many ways you can approach the big question of the "right" time to visit Walt Disney World. Ultimately, it will be up to you and when is the best time you can travel. May and October have been months our family enjoys due to lower crowd levels, outside of the end of May with schools out for the summer and the end of October as Halloween does see a boost in crowds. The weather seems to be calmer with lower chances of rain and a more comfortable experience in the parks concerning heat.

As far as days of the week to visit, that also is a hot topic to debate. Usually, mid-week seems to be a better time to visit. Local Florida residents do not seem to visit the parks as much as on the weekends and crowd levels may be a little lighter compared to the weekends.

All that being said so far, I would have to ask the question what are your goals when you want to visit the parks? Do you want to lowest crowd levels? Do you want to experience the parks for your favorite Holiday? Those questions may help you iron out more specific months you want to visit the parks.

Another tool to consider is a crowd calendar. If you search for "Crowd Calendar for Disney World" there should be several to choose from. They can give you recommendations on times to visit based on your answers as well as show you expectations on crowd levels. They typically use historical data combined with events in the parks and around the resort to make their predictions. These can be super helpful when planning your perfect time to visit.

I hope this information helped give you some ideas on when to visit and tools to make the decision a little easier. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
