You absolutely can head straight to
Blizzard Beach or
Typhoon Lagoon as early as opening time on the day that you will check into your hotel in the
Disney Resort Collection. I love the
Summer Water Park Benefit promotion, that continues through September 8, 2026.
My husband and I, our daughter and our friends all took advantage of this benefit earlier this summer. We headed straight to Blizzard Beach from the
Disney Destiny without a stop at our resort first. We could have dropped our bags at Bell Services first, but we were eager to start our float around the
Cross Country Creek.
We had reserved a
Polar Patio in advance, so we knew we would have a designated spot to chill. However, if you don't have a reservation for a Polar Patio or a
Lodge Umbrella, I would suggest getting there as early as possible to settle into your perfect home base for the day.
After you spend your first day relaxing at a water park, you will be all set to start your fun in the parks. Don't miss the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which gets underway the week you arrive. Catch Hanson at the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Or trick or treat your way through
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
