Can florida residents book a full vacation package with dining, tickets and room? I have heard that they can not. My husband is a Florida resident but I am not. Thanks!!!

Hi, and welcome to the Moms Panel!

We (lucky) Florida residents can book a vacation package, but I think what you might have heard that may have confused you is whether Florida resident discounts would be applied to packages. Typically, I have noticed that there are not packages that reflect FL resident discounts. Those discounts are usually in the form of "room only" bookings, or special tickets with a discounted or promotional price. In order to be a package, a vacation would be booked including room and tickets together. Dining plans, with a few exceptions, can not be added to room only or separately sold ticket bookings.

Another thing you should know, if you plan on purchasing tickets that are FL resident you should have valid FL resident ID to present at the theme park entrances. My family has been asked to show ID often!

Hope this helps! Come back to the Moms Panel if you have any more questions!
