I am a Florida resident. WDW is 6 hrs away but I will be visiting in Dec-14 and June-15. Can I purchase the annual pass, using the payment plan, and actually enter the park with the pass after making only 1 payment? Pass expires 1 year after 1st payment?

    Hi Regina,

The payment plan for annual passes is such a great value for those of us who live in Florida. I love that I can spread the cost of our passes throughout the year.

You are correct that, once you make the down payment and set up your automatic monthly payment plan, you can begin using your passes right away if you choose. The pass expires one year from your first use, not from the date of your first payment.

This year, for example, I made my down payment in early January, but we didn't use our tickets for the first time until February 7. So our passes are valid through February 6, 2015.

When you are ready to activate your passes, you will need to visit a ticket window or Guest Services location to show proof of Florida residency. The activation takes just a few minutes.

I hope that clarifies the process. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you get ready to enjoy a full year of Walt Disney World fun. Enjoy!
