I am a Florida resident and I wanted to buy a Florida annual pass for my three year old niece. I wanted to know if that is possible. Her parents are not Florida residents but my niece stays with me most of the summer.

    Hi Christina!

Welcome to planDisney!  I love that you are looking for ways to create magical memories with your niece.  In my opinion, the best Walt Disney World Resort memories are those created with family!

Christina, Walt Disney World Resort offers several annual pass options, each with varying levels of benefits.  To purchase a Disney Pixie Dust Pass or Disney Pirate Pass you must be a Florida resident and the Disney Sorcerer Pass is available to Florida residents or Disney Vacation Club owners.   In addition to annual passes, there are typically special offers on theme park tickets available to Florida residents.  Proof of Florida residency is required for each of these tickets or annual passes purchased for adults.  Guests under the age of 18 currently do not need to provide proof of residency as long as they are accompanied by an adult who has provided the proper documentation.  For your convenience, you may be able to provide this proof of residency at the time of online purchase which will save you the stop by Guest Relations to activate your passes.  Lastly, don't forget to check current theme park reservation requirements for Annual Passholders and Florida Resident Tickets before heading to the parks!

There is so much to do at Walt Disney World Resort that I'm sure you'll find reasons to visit again and again throughout the summer!  Magic Kingdom Park is home to the largest number of "any height" attractions which are perfect for little Mouseketeers to enjoy with their family members.  Attractions like Enchanted Tales with Belle are perfect for this age as she gets to become part of the story as it unfolds in front of her.  Being local to the parks, I recommend going slow to soak in the fun since you can come back time and time again.  Sometimes the best moments are spent enjoying an ice cream and playing on the hub grass in front of Cinderella Castle while the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade passes by!  If you're looking for some extra special surprises to enjoy together this summer, you may want to consider a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table or an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Christina, I hope this is helpful as you plan for what sounds like a magical summer with your niece!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop by planDisney again - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
