Hi Greg, I know exactly how important those mid-day naps are for toddlers. Unfortunately there are no facilities specifically for children to nap at. However, you do have a few options.
My husband and I would always take a mid-day drive from one park to another. If you do not have a park hopper pass, I would suggest driving over to Downtown Disney. Basically, just drive somewhere until the kids are asleep. I have seen families bring their kids to Impressions de France, located at the France Pavilion inside Epcot. The film shows pictures of the French countryside and plays very relaxing music in the background. You may get lucky and they may fall asleep in their stroller. This is the best scenario. You and your wife can take turns going on some of the more intense rides, while one of you stays in the shade with the kids. Good luck Michelle
I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008. As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity. My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
