Hey there, hi there, ho there, Maria! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.
As one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors, you're eligible for some
fantastic deals on theme park admission and resort hotel stays. My parents reside part-time in the Sunshine State, and just last week they purchased a Florida resident 4-day theme park ticket for one of my little Mouseketeers to be used on a summer vacation.
During
the current phase of reopening, you CAN buy tickets for your grandchildren, so long as they are still under 18 years of age. As soon as you purchase his ticket and link it in
My Disney Experience, he can access the
Disney Park Pass System. The summer is looking busy in Walt Disney World, so you'll want to do this as soon as possible.
If you haven't done so already, you will also need to
verify your residency status to activate your little guy's ticket either online, at Guest Relations, or
Disney Springs. My parents are meeting us in Walt Disney World this summer for a big family adventure, and we plan to dine at Disney Springs on our arrival night (
The BOATHOUSE® is our favorite!) and stop by the
Disney Ticket Center to make sure everything is in order before heading to the theme parks the next day.
I'm glad I could share some good news with you, Maria! I hope your grandson has a fantastic visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth during Olaf's favorite season. If you're interested in joining them for a getaway,
take a look at some of the offers in the
Disney Resorts Collection for Florida residents. My parents enjoyed several Disney staycations this winter, and we joined them on one of their escapes to
Disney's Riviera Resort. My little ones loved exploring this luxurious, yet welcoming resort with their grandparents.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and if there's anything we can help with in the future, come back and see us again. We're all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Betsy
