Hello, Cristina!
Welcome to planDisney with a popular planning question! First, let me say how lucky you are to live in the Sunshine State and be so close to the Magic! You get to enjoy and fully celebrate the 50th Anniversary. I followed the
50th Anniversary Sips and Bites Guide on my recent trip. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the special entrees, snacks, and desserts created as a part of the 50th Anniversary.
Florida Residents can purchase discounted tickets for Guests under the age of 18, but must be present to activate those tickets with a valid Florida ID to verify their residency. While it is a grand gesture to purchase tickets for your sister-in-law, unfortunately, she will need a valid Florida Driver’s License, State ID card, or Military ID to be able to use a discounted Florida Resident ticket. As an out-of-state Annual Passholder, myself, I am not aware of all the benefits available to Florida Resident Passholders. In the past, I have been able to purchase discounted special event tickets for non-pass holders. You may want to check your current Passholder Benefits online or your issue of The Passholder Buzz for more information.
This is a great time of year to visit. The
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival are in full bloom. You can sample the delectable dishes offered by the Outdoor Kitchens while enjoying the topiary displays. Stop by and see the butterflies. Don’t forget to use that Annual Passholder discount when buying some limited edition festival merchandise.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
