If a Florida resident purchases a ticket for a child does that adults have to be present when going into disney?

    Hi Kendra!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  As a Floridian and a mom of three, I am happy to assist you with this question! When a Florida Resident purchases discounted tickets, in order to activate them, they need to provide proof of residency either online or upon arrival in order to activate all tickets including the child tickets. Minors do not have to provide proof of residency. Also, keep in mind that upon entering the parks, the minor child must tap in at the touch points. If there are any issues with the ticket, (especially if it is a ticket purchased on the annual pass payment plan), the Florida Resident must be present to resolve the issue with Guest Services. Hope this helps!

Quick Tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience App on your smart phone before your trip! Here you will be able to see wait times, book and manage your Fast Pass+ selections as well as any dining reservations you may have!

It has been a pleasure assisting you Kendra! Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
