Can a Florida resident purchase tickets as a gift for someone that is not a Florida resident?

Hi, Dawn, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

I can't think of a better gift to give someone than the gift of Disney. It's so much fun to share our love of the Walt Disney World Resort with the people we care about the most.

Florida residents may purchase tickets for out-of-state residents by scrolling to the "Prices and Products for All Guests" section of the Admission and Tickets page on the Walt Disney World website. From there, you can select the number of days and types of tickets you'd like to give to friends and family. These tickets will reflect the non-resident price, as any adult planning to use a Florida Resident Ticket will have to show proof of Florida residency at Guest Relations before entering a Theme Park.

Dawn, another way to give the gift of Disney is to pick up some Disney Gift Cards for your recipients to use on their vacation. You can purchase Disney Gift Cards online or at many retail locations, and they're accepted for all kinds of snacks, souvenirs and more all around Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Dawn. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
