I am a Florida resident. Can I purchase my out of state grandchildren park passes and hotel arrangements without my being present?

Hi there, Terry, and welcome to planDisney! I couldn't be more thrilled that you're here today with this great question about Walt Disney World Resort! If you're hoping to purchase Disney Theme Park tickets for your grandkids, it sounds like you're in the running for Grandparent of the Year!

Terry, you'll be happy to know that you should be able to take advantage of Florida Resident ticket pricing for your grandkids under 18 years of age. The easiest way to do this is to purchase the tickets online and use your Florida identification to verify your residence virtually as you're checking out. Certain types of identification work for this, so be sure to check out the list and ensure you have everything you need in advance. If your residency is not verified online, it will need to be done in person to activate their tickets.

There are often special offers for Florida Residents on the Walt Disney World Resort website so be sure to check out the website to see if any of them might apply to you! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have about planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

    See you real soon!
